On the East coast of South Africa halfway between Durban and Richard's Bay is the R66 turnoff. 28km inland (Westward) up the R66 is the Town of Eshowe.
From Durban:
- Go north up the N2 highway passed the Umhlanga, Ballito, Stanger and Mandini off ramps.
- You will see that the bridges over the freeway become numbered starting at 18 counting downwards.
- Once you have gone under bridge 9 take the Dokodweni Toll Plaza turnoff to Eshowe, Ulundi and Ging.Eshowe is 20 minutes up the hill.
- Once you are in town just follow the signs to The George Hotel.
From Johannesburg:
- Standerton R23, Volksrust R23, from Volksrust take the N11 and then turn left onto the R34 before you get to Newcastle, Vryheid R34, Ulundi R34, Melmoth R34, Eshowe R66, follow signs to The George Hotel Eshowe.
